- 1975—Graduated from Nathaniel Hawthorne High School, Harbor City, California, cumulative G.P.A. of 3.5. Primary concentration in Architectural Drafting.
- 1984—Attended Southern Oregon State College from 1980 to 1984. Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Printmaking (specifically lithography, photolithography, etching, and woodcut.) 3.89 cumulative G.P.A.
